Our featured vintages

The 1996 Gosset Grand Millesime Brut had a spicy oak aroma with pine, orange oil and tangerine overtones. There is an oily lightness with bracing acids and an outstanding extract finished with citrus flavors.

The Bollinger Grand Annee 1996. This had aromas of pineapple, pine needles, toffee and nuts. The feel is dense, full and dry. There is penetrating fruit, with hints of oak and spice flavors. A lot of the intensity is more evident on the back of the palate. This is estimated to develop in the bottle for a couple of decades.

Rol Roger 1996 Brut Chardonnay. This had a pale bright color with a nose of lemon, orange blossom, chalk, minerals and flowers. It is ripe and perfumed in the mouth with acidity and a very ripe after taste. It will be even better after a few years of bottle aging.

1998 Paul Bara Brut. This had a bright green tinge of copper color with fresh aromas of pear, ginger and toasted nuts. It is rich and dry with flavors of mint, stone, wild strawberry, ruby red grapefruit and has leesy nuances. There is a tactile floral finish. This is a Pinot Noir dominated Champagne.
